magic way to refactor?

  • Subject: magic way to refactor?

Hi all,

I am in the process of moving lots of code from the default package into specific packages - using eclipse/wolips. Every now and then it seems to work, but for the most part, when I drag files I get an exception with the option to Undo or abort. The exception is a NullPointerException.

"An exception has been caught while processing the refactoring 'Move'."

"Reason:
Exception does not provide a detail message"

So what I end up doing is dropping to the command line and doing it manually, then going through each file and add the proper package & imports.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know of a solution?

thanks,

asa
