Unable to create page

WO 5.3 on OSX

Any one know what this error means?  First time I've ever seen it.

Unable to create page 'foo'. No context was passed

I am not doing anything special, just creating an ordinary page using pageWithName. Must be doing something wrong though, anyone got a hint?
