Excellent! Looking forward to reading it. Thanks for doing this, Janine.

Remember that tutorial I said I'd write? That was at the last WWDC. It's finally finished, and not a moment too soon.

This isn't for a total newbie; I don't explain every concept in WO, partly because it would have taken years and partly because I still don't understand it all myself. This is more of a step by step guide to building a simple app, meant for someone who has read the beginner documentation, and it's also a basic introduction to using Eclipse and WOLips. It doesn't do much now, just your basic add/edit/delete/display, but I plan to add many more features to it in the future.

You can get the document from http://www.furfly.com/wo/WO-Tutorial- v1.0.pdf, and the sample code from http://www.furfly.com/wo/WO- Tutorial-Sample-Code-v1.0.tgz I put a link to it here:

http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WOCOM/WO+Resources +and+Ideas

and am open to other suggestions on where it should be publicized.

Constructive comments are welcome, and I'll take suggestions for future topics to cover, though I make no promises when I'll get to them as I have a pretty long list already.

I would be remiss to not thank Chuck, who spent lots of time helping me through this, and Sacha for pitching in this week when Chuck was too busy to help with the last few items. Also my husband Mike, who was my proof reader and guinea pig. He's a sys admin, not a programmer, so if he can follow it, anyone can. :)

I suppose I should also thank all our clients who have been putting up with me being AWOL for most of the last few weeks so I could get this finished before WWDC. :)

I hope someone finds this useful... I know I learned a whole lot by writing it.
