WWDC

I have been loving WO since 2001.

I switched to Rails on my last project (Worried about WO's External Future- I
knew Apple used it but what would we see of their work?) and Rails is a very
nice framework.

I will say that it is NOT WO (EOF Rocks, ActiveRecord is OK), but there are a
lot of books written on the subject, it has a very active community, can
interface to just about every db, is not JAVA (Ruby is a nicer language to
write in), has a VERY smooth AJAX interface, but is VERY slow compared to WO.

That being said, I viewed WO as being Apple's Red Headed Step Child. I am
writing this because now I am po'd that I did not go to WWDC and need to vent
because I jumped too fast to Rails!!!!

When will we find out what happened at WWDC?? What happened that was so
positive?? Please someone from Apple give us the 411!! I want to go back to WO.

By the way, whoever is doing that new WO site, GREAT JOB!!!!!

What WO needs - Cocoa! An Objective-C WO anyone?? I would love to have the GUI
stuff, the builder, and everything else from Cocoa.
