Java Business Intelligence / Reporting

  • Subject: Java Business Intelligence / Reporting

I have been looking at Jasper Reports and BIRT for the past couple of days. In my travels I came across a business intelligence suite of open source Java projects called Pentaho that I hadn't heard of. It incorporates reporting, data mining, charting, data integration and analysis in a web-based application. I am not sure how easily the pages can be integrated into WebObjects, but given that it's Java, it shouldn't be too bad. If anyone else is doing this kind of work, Pentaho looks like it is worth checking into.
