I'm guessing that no-one who hates the all-in-one approach has also tried
the Eclipse 3.3 releases?
Hint: try the "Detached" view for each tab...you can't do it for editor
windows (which I hope is just a "not yet" issue), but I've currently got my
main editor open on one screen, the console on another and other detached
tabs on the third.
Works nice, despite the occasional bug or two in 3.3M6 :-)
