Ok, I did step 1 and 3. Also, I fixed a lot of other problems :
- Most pages use the "{panel}" syntax to display commands or code,
but when the code has brackets or dashes, Confluence was trying to
parse those parts as macro. So I moved the {panel} macro to {code},
and no parsing occurs.
- I tried to change all links that goes to others pages/spaces in the
wiki, some of them were absolute links, so I fixed them to be
internal wiki links, this way when a page is moved or renamed, the
links will automatically change.
As for step 2, I will start working on it this week. Any help will
be appreciated :-)
Hello everyone,
I did a lot of cleanup in the wiki, mainly to remove the links to
the WikiBooks site and removing dead (404s) links.
Now, I want to clean the wiki even further :
1) Most of the pages coming from WikiBooks have
"Programming__WebObjects" in their title, example :
Programming__WebObjects-EOF-Using EOF-Raw Rows
So I think we should remove the "Programming__WebObjects" part in
the title
2) In the same example :
Programming__WebObjects-EOF-Using EOF-Raw Rows
"EOF" should be a top page, "Using EOF" should be a child page of
"EOF", and "Raw Rows" should be a child page of "Using EOF"
3) Most pages has a "Category:WebObjects" footer, we should remove it.
Any objections ?
