It really depends on the size of the project and the number of
projects you are porting and how you internally have organized your
project. I was simply presenting Mark with his options. If the project
is substantial and complex and he has many like this that he needs to
port, it will be less error prone to get an older version of xcode to
handle the import from ProjectBuilder. Then he can use the
XcodeMigration tool referenced on the page that you pointed him to.
For the size of the project I was working on, this was a much safer
and faster way to deal with it.
Otherwise, if it is just a few files, you are correct, it will be
easier to follow the manual process and drop the files from finder or
an exiting project.

Hey Mark,
The last time I migrated something from ProjectBuilder, I first
converted the project from ProjectBuilder to xcode project. But
this might be a bit of an involved process for you. You will need
an older version of Xcode, I believe 2.0 and 2.1 will work for
this. Use the import function there to import the ProjectBuilder
file. Once it is imported, quit Xcode. Find the xcode project file
and double click on it, do a clean, then a build. If you attempt to
just build right after the import without quitting xcode first, it
usually fails.
Otherwise, unfortunately, Xcode 2.3+ doesn’t import Project Builder
and ProjectBuilderWO projects. For these projects, you must create
an Xcode project and add the older project’s files to it.
After you successfully have an xcode project, I would recommend you
follow the manual process detailed at:
http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WOL/Import+an+Xcode+project+into+WOLips
.
Wouldn't it be easier to just follow the manual process and drag and
drop the files from Finder?

Chuck,
I am sending this again because I noticed I did not click "reply
All"
on my response.
I am currently using ProjectBuilder on Windows and I will be using
Eclipse and WOLips on OS X.

What were you using on Windows? Eclipse and WOLips? Or
ProjectBuilder.

My current project is developed with WebObjects 5.2.4 on a windows

on taking my current java classes and frameworks from my windows
5.2.4 projects into WebObjects 5.4 and is this possible without
any
intermediate steps.
