How I Got WebAssitant Working on Leopard

So I have a small quick project that requires the simplicity of D2W, when I got everything up and running I discovered that webassistant no longer works and or is dead.  I quickly googled the topic and the consensus was "write the rules yourself, you'll be better off".  Since I don't normally use D2W, I was lost when it came to writing rules as there are no clear guides on the ins and  outs of this.

I did find a post that said to turn on the following prefs

Eclipse -> Preferences -> WOLips -> Build -> Write PB.project on build
Eclipse -> Preferences -> WOLips -> Build -> Write Xcode .xcodeproj on build

Turning these prefs on got rid of the first errors I encountered, but then I got new errors when I tried to open webassistant saying that I backtracked too far.

Eventually I found I could get the webassitant to open if I opened a new browser window to the URL

http://localhost:YOURPORT/cgi-bin/WebObjects/YOURAPP.woa/wa/D2WActions/openWebAssistant

This allows me to edit the build's rules, so it works for my project.
