Actually, a better tip is to leave "Prune empty directories" checked but check "bin" and "build" in Ignored Resources (add them if they're not in the list). There's no reason to include these directories in the CVS repository.


Could you possibly share your current settings under Team -> CVS? Maybe I am overlooking another setting that could be very useful.


I wish it were easier to share Eclipse preferences. These preferences must be stored somewhere, but I don't know where. There are so many Team preferences that listing all of them would be just too painful. I don't believe that I have changed many of the default values.
