Because no good deed goes unpunished:
If there was a Java Client checkbox with a sub Java WebStart checkbox
in there, then the build could automatically check each included
framework for WebServerResources/Java FrameworkName.jar file and copy
that to the application's WebServerResources/Java directory as well!
See: http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WO/Framework+Client-Side+Classes
They need to be there in order for WebStart to be able to download the
client-side jars to the client.
Non-WebStart Java Client apps don't need the Framework client-side
Jars copied, but having a property in the build.properties that
denoted Java Client would allow a modified build.xml file to Jar-up
the client-side application classes and put them in WebServerResources/
Java as well.
See: http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WO/Java+Client-WebStart+Distribution+Building

Cool!
Is this setting the build.xml properties accordingly so that a command
line build will read and execute that too?

This looks interesting, though the WSR are not really an issue for
me. One
thing though, why not isolate certain conditions (for example if
frameworks
should be embedded or not) into build.properties?
That's a good idea ... someone should have been adding that this
morning to
NewHotness by a totally weird coincidence ...
