Which is the "if" I think makes the whole thing not worth the bother.
Imagine a D2W edit component two levels embedded. And then tell me you
could efficiently and easily serialize it.
Much easier to just store user="foo", currentPage="EditBar" produce an
"oops, please re-enter" message.
