I haven't used GWT-Ext myself. It's not a native GWT library, meaning it's not written in Java; it's just a thin Java wrapper around _javascript_ and CSS, etc. That makes it a little less attractive. Plus the Ext license is not free for commercal development I think. You should check out
SmartGWT as well.
