Hello Asim;

The idea behind my article was to support a deployment that was similar in topology to WebObjects' own wotaskd -- not a regular "servlet container". So it is not so much messy, but just intentionally not trying to "do the usual thing". Those instructions may also be a little X-Code focused and need revision for the new tools.
