Not sure if I'm reading this correctly, but you should be able to just set noSelectionString = "Select a Person" (or whatever) ... When noSelectionString is submitted, it binds back to you as a null value.


Oopps, sorry! I guess I managed to somehow miss this binding %-)
I had the feeling that there had to be a simpler WebObjects kind of way to doing this. Glad I ask.
