Hello,

Recently, I downloaded David LeBer's TacowAjaxDemoX to explore using the Ajax.framework and other parts Project Wonder but unfortunately it is not functioning properly with my setup. I am running Mac OS 10.4.10 with Xcode 2.5 and WO 5.3.1. I tried the Wonder 4.0 download from sourceforge as well as the "latest" download from a couple days ago with no luck either.

The app builds, runs and displays fine in Safari and Navigator 9.0 but none of the Ajax-y bits seem to work. The Navigator error console does reveal the following errors after a couple tries;

I apologize for that code.

To be honest, I knew not what I was doing :-), for a real Ajax demo I recommend the one that is bundled with Wonder <http:// www.mdimension.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/AjaxExample.woa/wa/default>.

It does far more real Ajaxy things (rather than just some RPC calls), and does it the WO way.

Chagrined, and contritely yours,

No apologies necessary. I still found your demo helpful as RPC calls are precisely what I am looking at to retrieve data dynamically from a session or ec.

The RPC part of the Ajax demo on the Wonder website does not appear to be working and I have not yet delved into WOLips yet to run the demo locally. Until, then, I'll take a look at the code.

Thanks for the info.

Jeff
