  • Thread-topic: Tips for deployment under jBoss 5.2.2, Java 1.5?

I need to deploy my application as SSDD under jBoss 5.2.2 GA with an
underlying Java 1.5 and I think Tomcat 6...

1. Which WebObjects version? Currently I develop with WOLips and WO 5.2.4
happily under Windows XP. On the other hand I want to upgrade my MacBook to
Lepoard these weeks (but then I need to run Oracle under W2K in Parallels
and my MacBook has no access to the customers intranet :-( ). WO 5.2.4 and
5.3 are oficially only Java 1.4 and 5.4 is new ;-) Tricky situation.

2. Since I never really deployed WO under J2EE, especially jBoss, are there
any recommendations? I did a small test with WO 5.3 and Tomcat 5.5 and that
was too easy ;-)

3. Concerning multithreading and servlets: Are there some examples of do's
and dont's out there in combination with WO?

btw: I am using (a little bit) Wonder 4.

Oliver

P.S.: tbc ;-)
