Hi Gino -
We are currently using DataHaven (http://www.datahaven.ie/). It's a
software solution (no hardware needed) which backs up your data to
their data centre in Dublin. We have servers in data centres in
London and Derby and have no problems at all. We use MySQL for which
their software has a plugin for (it uses mysqldump to backup the data
then uploads it incrementally). You get confirmation emails
confirming the back up happened, and because you store your schedule
on their servers they also send you an email if a backup is missed.

Hi all
I need to set up an off site back up server for my WO Apps and
database contents. Can anyone recommend what type of hardware might
be applicable - xserver or a NAS mounted on live server.
The apps are on a Xserve currently in a data centre in England but I
am concerned that if there is a catastrophic disaster onsite I need
to have a secondary source for my clients...
