In Eclipse, I've disabled WODirectConnectEnabled, and modified WOAdaptorURL to http://localhost/cgi-bin/WebObjects, set WOPort 55555, and WOHost localhost. I'm able to get the wotaskd configuration when hitting http://localhost:1085, and the app tries to run but Safari kicks back "... can't open the page "http://127.0.0.1:55555/cgi-bin/WebObjects/myApp.woa"; because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy.

http://127.0.0.1:55555/cgi-bin/WebObjects/myApp.woa is a direct connect URL, so it appears that WODirectConnectEnabled is true at launch time. What WODirectConnectEnabled value do the launch messages indicate? What is the response when, after the above error response, you send a request to http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/ WebObjects/myApp.woa/-55555, the developer Web server connect URL?

In the output that prints the value for all the properties, I"m getting this: WODirectConnectEnabled=false, so it would seem that it's correct.

And, when typing in this URL as you suggested: http://127.0.0.1/cgi- bin/WebObjects/myApp.woa/-55555 I get the dreaded "The requested application was not found on this server." message. But, I can hit the wotaskd config using http://localhost:1085 which also lists my running application. So close... I hope anyway.

Aloha, Art
