Unicode problems compiling Wonder on Linux

  • Subject: Unicode problems compiling Wonder on Linux

Hi,

I like to compile Wonder on my Linux deployment system directly from svn.
It works fine but I get some character encoding warnings like

[wocompile] /opt/source/Wonder/Frameworks/Core/ERExtensions/Sources/er/ extensions/foundation/ERXFile.java:28: warning: unmappable character for encoding ASCII
[wocompile] * <code>contents[i].getName().equals("FilenameWithSpecialCharacter???")</ code>

On my Mac compiling works fine. Both systems use LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 so I wonder why the systems behave different.
Is there any command line switch which allows me to tell the build file to use encoding=UTF-8 for the wocompile task? I don't want to add it to the build file itself...

Thanks,
Helmut
