[OT] Flash media server - WebObjects

  • Subject: [OT] Flash media server - WebObjects

Hallo,
sorry, this is completely off-topic, but perhaps someone has the experience I lack.

We need to hand a variable over to a Flash Media server to have that variable written into the flash stream.

I'm told by the people, who will do the programming for the flash media server, that this can only be done
with a ColdFusion Application, because only ColdFusion would be able to communicate
with the Flash media server.

Has someone ever tried (and succeeded) to communicate with the Flash Media Server via WebObjects?

Background: the customer has a Mac Environment with several Xserve licenses - they definitely have a WebObjects license, but need to buy a ColdFusion License
and buying a ColdFusion License solely for this task seems not sensible to me.

Or has someone archived the communication with Flash Media Server by another means.

Regards,
Ute
