Forget me if I'm wrong, but modern WOLips has experimental drag and
drop (it does work well though).

The hard part is finding where to turn it on. I always thought it
would be in Preferences -> WOLips. Alas, its this: Window->Show
View->Other and the choose WOLips->Bindings (Experimental) from the
list
