So to the original question... are there any examples to play with, or
are you left alone with the WO - integration?
It would be cool to play with a WO backend and sproutcore as an
interface.

There was a session at WWDC. It definitely looks interesting.
It shifts the paradigm considerably - client-server apps rather than
server vended sites.
Though, it would be cool if you could create client side model
objects using Velocity eogen...
