Secure LDAP with EOModel

  • Subject: Secure LDAP with EOModel

I'm trying to configure the connection dictionary using the JNDI adaptor so as to use ssl and a trusted certificate on the client side as part of creating the initial directory context all from within the EOModel. I'm able to do all this in code and successfully connect to the server and authenticate, but am getting stuck on getting the model to connect. Ideally, I'd be able to do this and reverse engineer the tree without needing to run the app first. Has anybody done this sort of secure connection using the model connection dictionary? I think the biggest roadblock is specifying the system property that points to the keystore; without it I don't know how the model can connect. Could be the only possible way is to make the connection at runtime, but thought I'd check here first. Thanks.
