I think you can see it because you either get two headers, or the size does not fit the content. I can't remember what it was exactly.
If you fix that, mod_gzip works fine.

It works for static pages (index.html) and static resources (like css) in my WO app, but not on the html returned from the WO app. I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that the content is being dynamically generated.
