Okay, next question: you have the right permissions? What error message do you get when trying to start the app from the command line?

If I just ran the app through command line and paste the URL in the
browser,
it will always give "The requested application was not found on this
server"
message.

If I add an instance through the JavaMonitor, and run from there
(same URL
basically), it works.

Stupid question: are you using the same command line parameters in both start methods? Exactly the same!?
