Hi all,
I just spent about 3 hours trying to track down an error I had in a
EOQualifier.qualifierWithFormat(String format, NSArray args) call:
I was using is String:
"part = %@ and lotCodeValue = %@ amd manufacturingSchedule = %@"
Note the second "and" is actually "amd"
This did not generate any error. It just silently truncated the
String to:
"part = %@ and lotCodeValue = %@"
Which is still valid, but it does not return the result set I was
expecting. (Yeah, yeah Chuck. I know, contracts and JUnit).
I doubt that would have saved you here.
Shouldn't it generate an error stating that the String can't be
parsed? I'll be happy to file a bug, but I want to make sure that
this isn't actually a "feature". :-)
That is an out and out bug. File 'em Dano!
