Greetings Mark,
One, good to talk with you even this late since WWDC 07. I agree
with you on the before NDA business. There is good news that may be
of interest. I am publishing a paper within this month in which ever
conference or paper my academic advisor helps me get into. The point
of interest is that the concepts that the paper are promoting are
implemented in WebObjects. I am looking forward to producing
another paper in April exploiting the image repository system build
for this months paper. Some of the concepts are image processing by
nature. Others are persistent storage and data mining by their
nature. Both are necessary for the concept of mining complex multi-
spectral images that require many images and their meta-data to analyze.
So far my advisor has made me suffer as far as bringing in expert
speakers to help teach this subject that is almost absent at my
university. However, the publication of a papers is the kind of
"kindness capital" necessary to convince the scientific community
here. That being said, I might not bring an expert point of view of
the ins and outs of WebObjects. But I am using them in the academic-
scientific community.
Later,
Dan
P.S. Contrary to popular opinion, it is perfectly okay to talk about
WO in public without carrying a concealed weapon.

Hey Pascal!
If there's a choice, I'd vote for before WWDC. That way, there's no
chance of us talking about whatever is presented at WWDC and thus no
issues with NDA.
Thanks!
