OK, I did that. I select Run As. . . -> WO App then when I select Application - myApp from the list I get the errors, but when I select ERXApplication or WOApplication I do not.

You should never select ERXApplication or WOApplication. That they are even available is a bug.

Even when I don't, I still do not find the background image.

I then created a new empty (except for "Hello World") Wonder app, added a css link (ERXStylesheet) in exactly the same way as in the first app, added the same CSS file and the same background image, and when I select Run As. . . choose WO Application then select Application - testApp, it runs with the styles and background image. (oddly, when I try and run the test app as an ERXApplication or WOApplication it loads the other app and not the test app) The only difference between the new and old app (other than the old one has more components and other content) is that the old one has an eomodel tied to an Openbase database.

_something_ else is different. I don't know what, but something.

Chuck

Is this what is supposed to be happening?

Andrew

PS: The "old app" I am referring to was one created from a fresh Wonder app yesterday as I was trying to fix the background image issue from and even older version.

Is there something else I am missing?

It looks like the classpath is wrong or your launcher config is wrong. How are you trying to run this? Right click on the Application class and pick Run As.... WebObjects Application.
