so an attribute with name: firstName column => (from prefix settings): c_first_name.

copy and paste the attribute and there is firstName1 for both the attribute name and column name. if I type over the name, the column name is not updated reflecting the prefix settings (prefix: t_ , fold to lowercase, underscores between)

I went looking for where to report this as a bug... and then again maybe this is the desired behavior.
Not desired -- it's a bug ... It's a side-effect of fixing a more annoying bug where it was previously mucking with these values too aggressively on copy/paste. Once your column doesn't match the pattern, no amount of typing in the attribute name will cause it to resync (that's intended behavior). You would need to change your column name to match the pasted attribute name with the correct pattern to make it pick back up and auto-sync again.
