I don't thing WebObjects or EOF is doing something wrong here. I also doubt

Me too; that's why I am that surprised seeing the duplicated PK problem :-O


Either one of your apps is not using the FrontBasePlugIn

Well... if I try just to remove the plugin (I've just tried to be sure), I get _obtainOpenChannel error, so the client could hardly do that and keep the application running.


Or is that somehow possible to run the app without the plugin "successfully" (in the sense it would seem to work all right, but would generate wrong PK's)? If so, how?

or someone is inserting data manually or at least not through WebObjects.

Far as I can say, they do not... well, of course I cannot be entirely sure, but it seems extremely improbable the client, who hardly is able to use FBManager to read in the database contents, would insert lines manually :(
