The fact that I need to read even part of a book alarms me.
Are you saying you've never referred ant's documentation?
I refer to the types and tasks documentation fairly frequently. But
that is reference material. I have read a book on Ant, but that was
when I wanted to write some additional tasks. Even then, I don't
think I needed a book.
And, why did you write that WO book again? ;-)
IMO, there ought to be a major difference in the levels of complexity
between a build system and an end-to-end set of web application
frameworks. I never read a book on make or bash either.
