oddly, you can set a join semantic on an eorelationship, but i don't think they actually expose that API anywhere else?
No, not that I have seen. I don't think that would help here, would it? He wants only the rows that don't have corresponding rows.
with a relationship join semantic, EOF can do the outer join, just not the where restriction (i'm going to look at this ... relationship faulting must manifest as a query, and I thought those were just regular fetch specs internally).
