Bingo. That fixes it. Bit of a strange one...?

Rather! It is a quirk defect in WebObjects' .wo template parser that breaks WOForm. I have an example prepared, but have not gotten around to submitting it yet. It will be a bear to fix. I think I can work around it in the AMD, but I have not done so yet.

Curses to David Holt for making me find this. ;-)
Kudos to Mike Schrag for remembering what it was.

Yay team! We all do our part ;-)

Hi All -

If you configure an AjaxModalDialog as follows....

AjaxModalDialogOpener which is inside a form
used to open AjaxModalDialog which is outside a form
AjaxModalDialog loads it's content via an action method and the
content includes an additional form with ajax submit buttons

.... none of the buttons work.

i've been through all examples and note that this config is missing
(the example with an opener and buttons loads it's content inline -
not through an action method).

i guess somewhere in all the rendering i'm getting a form-in-a-form
situation. just wondering if this is known behavior (ie. you can't
configure them in this way) or possibly a bug ?

You are not getting a form in a form, that is why I created the opener. I
will guess that in the content loaded by the action method, that the WOForm
element is the very first and last thing in the content. Am I right? If
so, add a space before or after it. Yes, just a single space. Does it work
now?
