Ah, OK. I thought it was a Flex restriction, not from the user.
Is there any example projects available that use the
AJAXUpdateContainer
that I could look over?
There are two example applications in Wonder, AjaxExample and the
cleverly named AjaxExample2. They demonstrate pretty much all of the
functionality. There is not much in the way of awesome CSS, so you
have to sort of imagine how nice it can be made to look. But it will
show functionally what it can do.
Chuck
I will also look into ERRest.
Thanks

I currently have an application that is build both in WebObjects.
It was
originally build in WO following a traditional WO path. The company

to Flex as the "standard" for web applications and we re-wrote the

a Flex app; however, the user wants to increase its use and Flex is
not
allowed at the levels that the app needs to run.
Due to licensing restrictions?
I need the interactivity
that I have with Flex but with the WO backend. I looked in WOX and
while it
looks interesting it appears to be experimental at best. AJAX is
allowed on
the domain that this system will need to run on so my question is,
what is
the best route to take to put an AJAX frontend on a WO application.
I did
some test where I had the JS loaded to allow for interaction on the
client
side, dragging items around, etc. but I have not figured out how to
have the
entities refreshed without reloading the page. Would
AJAXUpdateContainer in
Project Wonder provide this?
Yes, AjaxUpdateContainer does this.
Or you could look at ERRest and some other JavaScript based front end.
