Hi Don,
Confirmed that it does not work on Snow Leopard with 'sudo java -jar
wo.jar' either.
It is installing Eclipse, just the frameworks in /Library/Frameworks
and the womonitor/wotaskd/adaptors etc in /System/Library/
WebObjects ...... which is the usualy spot, but you can the stuff
somewhere else if needs be, as long as we stay consistent.
Let me know when there is another installer to try out on Snow Leopard,
Regards, Kieran

Hi Don,
If you could just support Snow Leopard, it would be great, then we
have a full complete installer to reduce the entry barriers to
WebObjects.
We needs more devs!

Cosmetic: Install wizard says "WebObjects 5.3.4/5.4.3" - should
that be "WebObjects 5.3.3/5.4.3"

Fixed.
Cosmetic: Installer says it will install Eclipse version is 3.3.2
- It installs 3.4.2 in reality
Fixed.
Cosmetic: Last screen instructions differ from the ones given
below (start/close and restart Eclipse)
Fixed.
Major: Even though the installer indicating it was downloading
and install the WO frameworks, I cann find them in the usual (/
Library/Frameworks) or any other location on the HD .... where
are they installed Don? Also creating a new WebObjects app fails
due to missing WO frameworks.
Please qualify that this only happens on Snow Leopard, it does not
occur on Windows or Linux. Check in /Applications/
WebObjectsApplications it looks like that might be where it goes
on OS X Snow Leopard.
No it is not in there, of course I did not use sudo either since
your instructions did not specify .....and I thought about that and
decided that I should follow the instructions exactly and if it
needed sudo, then it would probably ask me ..... that later I
forgot about that of course. Let me try again with sudo in front of
the jar command, and I will let you know.
Cheers, Kieran
Also, it does not create a default ~/Application Support/WOLips/
wolips.properties, however wolips itself creates the default
properties later.
This was removed from the installer because this is done
automatically by WOLips.
I have not uploaded an updated installer yet. Please let me know
where you find the Frameworks on Snow Leopard.
Don
