Just be aware that this "appliationNumber" may not exist if you need to later deploy into an architecture where there is no "application number" -- such as a servlet container.

I'm trying to get the instance number of my application running in monitor.
I'm calling component.context().request().formValueForKey(WORequest.InstanceKey)
It's coming back null. Am I looking in the wrong place?
...
component.context().request().applicationNumber()
