Hi Dan,
Nice to see you around again.

Greetings Chuck,
Great hearing from you. Two things that may help the audience.
One, the class notes from the fall using WO and MS SQL (http://venus.cs.ttu.edu/groups/webobjects
). Second, a product out there called RavenSQL. It has a Type 4
JDBC driver that works with MS SQL Server. It certainly will not be
winning any Apple Design Awards any time soon, but the ability to
build the tables with "Windows Authentication" while running on a
Mac is priceless.
That sounds very interesting. I was not able to find this with
Google. Do you have a link handy?
Cheers,
Chuck

I would be interested in getting a copy of your SQLServer plugin.
I will try and post it up tomorrow.
What issues did you fix that the WO provided one didn't address?
It allows jdbc2info to be embedded into the plugin so that you can
generate SQL without a database connection. It also provides some
better support for Migrations and SQL generation.
We just came
across some issues yesterday where if we use the WO MSSQLServer
plugin we
were getting errors like fetches or updates would lock multiple
rows when
single rows were expected.
I have not hit that, but I don't lock on time stamp columns as that
(alleged) database only has 3 ms accuracy on timestamps vs the 1 in
Java.
If we didn't set the plugin and used the generic
plugin JDBCPlugin - everything worked fine. Unfortunately Project
Wonder
uses the plugin to make some conditional decisions when using the
aggregate
function qualifiers - which doesn't work if the plugin is not
specified
I don't recall hitting that yet.

Yes, I use it. I am not thrilled about using it, but I do. I
have an
EOF plugin (that should be in Wonder but is not for reasons I don't
recall at the moment, maybe 5.3 / 5.4 compatibility). I can send
you
a copy if you want.
