Long ago, I wrote the enhancements for ERXEntityClassDesc that allow for pretty extensive model based validations because it looked like a nice idea, but then I never actually used them. Likewise with Validity. Somehow this stuff always gets so complicated that you can't do *everything* in the model and then you'll end up with two places to maintain. One approach might be to generate the code in EOGenerator. Maybe the way I did it just sucked, though as editing this plist isn't really for the faint-hearted.
