We were discussing some of the Java 1.6 stuff, include ModernJass
which needs Java 1.6. Well, for my lovely G5s and 32-bit Intels, what
would work. At least with the SoyLatte there seems to be a Java 1.6
available for 32bit Intel boxes. However, even if you look at Linux
PPC the noted 1.6 JVMs are all reported to be VERY slow. Java 1.6, now
that its officially posted by Apple, is definitely a crossroads point.
Once either WO or Eclipse/frameworks adopt it, there is an implied
hardware refresh :)
