You could do it with livecasting for sure. I've been using http://www.mogulus.com for this recently and it actually really works (despite an odd flash ui). You get multiple camera feeds, on the fly captioning and titling MTV style, live chat, schedules it's pretty cool. A bonus is it can record as your broadcasting allowing you to make an on demand archive as you go so no need to transcode everything later.

Given all the livecasting tools out there, I don't think it would be too much trouble to do. I'm certain there'd be a need to limiting viewers/interaction, but that shouldn't be too much trouble.

I think the biggest hurdle would be getting a reliable, fast upstream.

That all said, if anyone does want to pursue this, I'll gladly lend a hand in getting it going.
