When you update the files in RuleModeler or RuleEditor, Eclipse will
not automagically recognize them as changed. In ruleModeler there is a
setting where you can tell eclipse that you did save the file.
You need to turn on the WOLips server:
and also enter port and password in RuleModeler (when you use
RuleEditor, you're out of luck)

Hi cug,
Well, now the rules fire with the Wonder frameworks too. I wonder if
there is some caching mechanism. I tried like crazy so many times.
And whatever I did the rules wouldn't fire but now they do.
Thanks!
Thanks

Actually, the rules are used if I use the WO D2W frameworks rather
than the ERD2W frameworks.
Is there anything special I need to do to make sure the rules are
used if I use the ERD2W frameworks?
What are the rules? Are you sure, that they actually fire? You can
switch on rule firing debugging by (a bit more complicate but it
helps with other stuff, too):
1. Add a ERD2WDebugFlags to your page wrapper:
html:
<webobject name="DebugFlags"></webobject>
wod:
DebugFlags : ERD2WDebugFlags {
}
2. Click on the log4j link
3. switch on debugging for rule firing:
er.directtoweb.rules.ERD2WTraceRuleFiringEnabled = Debug
