[OT] kernel_task using 8 GB of RAM on Mac OS X Server

Hi!

Sorry for asking this here, but maybe someone knows the answer... I have an OS X Server box that sometimes starts to slow down to a crawl. Inspecting the machine reveals that kernel_task is using about 8 GB of RAM. Considering that the xServe has only 1 GB of RAM, it's easy to see why it slows down.

Have any of you seen this before?! What the hell is going on here? I have to restart the server every week because of this...

  Yours

Miguel Arroz
