You need more information to solve your problem so.....

1) Are you using Project Wonder? If so, adjust WOMonitor args to turn off concurrent request handling and configure the SessionStoreDeadlock detection feature.

2) Turn on logging and tail -f the log to look for clues

3) right after you click, run jstack <pid> on the app from the command line to see where all the threads are at.

4) Try running Shark time profile

5) Turn on SQL logging (either in the app or DB) and monitor that

Hi All,
We have suddenly developed an issue in our production enviroment and we
have no idea where to start debugging.

Symptoms-
When using the app and you click a link or button the request seems
to just stall, the
browser progress bar shows that its doing something but the page never
moves on. If i click the link or button again it completes straight away
with no problems.

We are not sure if its an apache problem or maybe request handler problem.

Does anybody have advice on where i should start?
