Hi all,
Somehow I ended up setting up my logging so errors (like
NullPointerExceptions) are no longer showing up in my logging in
Eclipse's console.
I can still see my normal debug logging and such, but no more errors
or stack traces.
I can't figure out how that's happened.
Here's the log4j config from my Properties files that shows at boot
time:
"log4j.appender.A1 = org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender",
"log4j.appender.A1.layout = er.extensions.logging.ERXPatternLayout",
"log4j.appender.A1.layout.ConversionPattern = %d{MMM dd HH:mm:ss} %$
[%#] (%F:%L) %-5p %c %x - %m%n",
"log4j.appender.logMail = org.apache.log4j.net.SMTPAppender",
"log4j.appender.logMail.BufferSize = 10",
"log4j.appender.logMail.From = email@hidden",
"log4j.appender.logMail.SMTPHost = 10.10.10.7",
"log4j.appender.logMail.Subject = Bakery Management Error!",
"log4j.appender.logMail.Threshold = ERROR",
"log4j.appender.logMail.To = email@hidden",
"log4j.appender.logMail.layout =
er.extensions.logging.ERXPatternLayout",
"log4j.appender.logMail.layout.ConversionPattern = %r %-5p
%d{ISO8601}%n %n%V{t total/u used/f free}%n%n[%t] %n%n (%C, %M, %F:
%L) - %n%n%m%n",
"log4j.logger.er = INFO",
"log4j.logger.er.extensions.fixes.ERSharedEOLoader = INFO",
"log4j.logger.er.transaction.adaptor.EOAdaptorDebugEnabled = DEBUG",
"log4j.loggerFactory = er.extensions.logging.ERXLogger$Factory",
"log4j.rootCategory = DEBUG, A1, logMail",
Am I missing something obvious?
Are these exceptions logged from your code? From Wonder? From WO?
First you need to identify where they are getting logged from.
