Does lazy instantiating for each prop work?
If I understand you correctly, you are thinking of initializing the
property dependence meta-info lazily.
I thought about this. It would not work. Unfortunately I need to
obtain an EOClassDescription at the point in which I define the
property dependence. This is because property dependencies are
defined on DataType objects, and my EOF specific DataTypes are based
on EOClassDescriptions. So, to postpone this I would need to
encapsulate the meta-info outside of the DataType, but at the same
time somehow explain to that DataType that there is info waiting for
it, until a time the DataType will need it. Even if possible, this
is a big mess.
If you meant something else, please explain,
Nothing else at this time. Perhaps a little more explanation about
your derived properties mechanism will trigger some extra thinking.
