Hi Ted,

When you create a Component, it also creates a .java file to go with it in your Sources directory. You must manually delete that file if you delete the Component. The New WebObjects Component window sees that file and assumes you haven't deleted the component. It should just say that there is a .java file with that name instead of a Component.

Good news is that it is a simple fix.
