Hi,

I am writing a plugin for the browser, and I am able to give authorisation (via fingerprinter or password) to a user to go further. I do this using Javascript (connected to theplugin).
What I really want to do now is to send information to the server (with WO) so I have a double check.

If someone can give some advice, please do. Reading the fingerprint and knowing the user is no problem. The fingerprint is now connected to a local user. But I want a fingerprint that I can read and send the information to the server.

Greetings,
Frank Stock

Hi

So it is a fingerprint authentication, gets user name and send to server for user profile retrieval..

I may be wrong, but reading devices through web browser (javascript ?) could be quite a challenge. May be some experienced ones could share. Are you expecting WO to read fingerprint from device or something else? More info will be good to those who may be able to help.

Cheers

Cheong Hee

Hi,

I am writing a plugin for Webkit now. So I can use Javascript (it is only for Mac) to check the user.
Problem is now that I have to create all possible users on the Mac and give them a password that they don't know.
So I will use the fingerprint to connect to a user. Use the plug to detect teh user and send the name to the server.

Greetings,
Frank Stock

Hi Frank

Are you trying to capture miniature of finger print of user from a hardware
device? Or generate digital signature based on PKI?

Cheers

Cheong Hee

At the login of my WO-app, I want to know the identity of who is
entering in the system. So now I have a fingerprint-control-system
from Eikon to do some testing.
Does anyone have some information (or where to look) on how to
implement a digital-signature in a web-application (WO)

Thanks,
Frank Stock
