OK, I see the reaper Thread logic now .... and since restart is hard-
coded to false, then I guess it does kill connections if free after a
time limit .... default is 600 seconds. The reaper thread runs the
reap logic every 20 seconds or so....... ok, I will give the
connection broker a try ...... I think it is definitely suited to the
nature of this app.

app to ensure connections are used efficiently, but in its current
design, if I am not mistaken, it appears to keep connections open
forever once opened, so it could do more harm than good in a peak
user activity situation.
