Starting a new Web App

  • Subject: Starting a new Web App

Dear WebObjects team:

I am a developer starting a new web application. I've not chosen a development path yet but am very interested in using WebObjects. I've noted 2 things today:

1) All of the WebObjects material is located in Apple's "Legacy" development reference area. There is no reference to WebObjects in any of the three current development centers (Mac, iPhone, Safari).

2) Snow Leopard does not install the WebObjects framework with XCode.

I am reluctant to start developing with WebObjects if it will not be supported and updated in the future. What is Apple's recommended development path for a web application?

Thank you for your time,

Tavis McDevitt
